Mike Dugan lives and breathes the blues. He is an amazing guitar player. I was very lucky to have the opportunity to interview him in his studio. The walls are covered with posters from his many shows through the years. I shared my earliest memories of seeing him perform, and he shared some of the things he learned in his many years as a working musician. He also has some advice for the next generation of musicians. He talks about growing up in South Jersey, and how that influenced his music in those early days. We talk about his success in New York City, and his eventual move to Pennsylvania. He also shares stories of some amazing concerts that he attended. Mike is very interested in sharing his knowledge, and gives private guitar lessons to the next generation of blues players. I studied with Mike for a couple of years, and he taught me a lot about the language of music. There is so much more to talk about with this legendary musician. I am looking forward to meeting with him again. As I was leaving, we talked about the possibility of an "all golf" episode. I look forward to that. I hope that you do, too. Enjoy!
