Trip Effect is a power trio from
Rockford, IL. I recently met with their bass player, Aaron Lynde,
for some great conversation. We talked about the band, their
influences, and some exciting projects that they have in the works.
Derek Carley is the singer and guitar player, and Eric Colvin is
the drummer. Aaron told me how the band came together, and gave me
an idea of what their live shows are like. They are planning on
performing at a big festival in Battle Creek, MI. Aaron allowed me
to include two of their songs with this episode. They have such a
good sound. They are gaining popularity all through the midwest and
