Ilona is a singer based in the UK. I spoke with her on the eve of her first trip to the United States. She will be performing several shows at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, and she is very excited! This was her very first phone interview, and I am honored to bring her story to you. We talked about her upbringing in Bulgaria and her eventual move to London. Her career is on the fast track, and she has the talent to back it up. She told me about her time spent as a backup singer, and a chance meeting with music legend Tony Moore. They have written several songs together, and are hard at work in the studio.
