This is a very special episode of The Artist
Connection Podcast. My guest is the legendary musician Ian Gomm! I
have been a fan of his for as long as I can remember, and I am
honored to feature him here. I first heard him back in 1979. His
hit song "Hold On" was all over the radio. I bought the 45 and have
followed his career ever since. Meeting him was a thrill. He shared
so many cool stories about The Who, Elvis Costello, Wings, Nick
Lowe, and his time with Brinsley Schwarz. Three of my favorite Ian
Gomm songs are included with this episode. I start things off with
"Hold On", go into his 2005 recording of "Cruel to be Kind", and
then close out the show with "Here It Comes Again". He was very
generous with his time, but I feel like I have so many more
