AO is a Hip-Hop Emcee from Charlotte, NC. He is the second of the Rize Records artists that are being featured on my show. We talked about his growing up in Charlotte, early performances and motivation, and finding some kindred spirits in the Army that brought him back to music. His track "You and Me" (featuring Mikki) is included with this episode. 2014 is going to be big for AO. His album "M.O.N.S.T.E.R" (Moving On Never Stopping to Embrace Regret) will be released this year, and he promised to join me again to talk through some of his favorite tracks.
