Today's guest is a music legend!
Phil Soussan is multi-Instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, VP of
the Grammy Awards...the list goes on and on! I have been a fan of
his since 1986 when I saw him perform with Ozzy on The Ultimate Sin
tour. He also wrote "Shot in the Dark", which is the track
that went to #1 with Ozzy. Phil released his own version of the
song in 2011 and it is included with this episode! He has worked
with so many amazing musicians over the years including Jimmy
Page, Joe Lynn Turner, Vince Neil, Steve Lukather, Billy Idol to
name just a few. In addition to the many albums that he has played
on and contributed songs to, he also has two solo albums. The
latest from 2011 is called "No Protection". The title track is
included here. The first was "Vibrate" released in 2006. I end
this episode with the lead track from there called "Human Race".
