Ric Jaz is an incredible guitar
player that has been working with Buddy Guy for the past 8 years.
His story begins many years before that. He has been a professional
musician for close to 30 years and has worked with some big names.
He told me all about it during our recent interview after the Buddy
Guy show at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA. I went to the show
with my good friend Federico Zayas, and we were both honored to
meet Ric in the lobby for a long chat. He hung out with us into the
wee hours of the morning. Our conversation covered many topics,
including his background, his love of sports, and his work with The
Dells, Albert King, and Buddy Guy. The interview took place in a
busy hotel lobby, so please don't let the background noise take
away from the experience. It is the loudest during the first 2
minutes. It is less distracting after that. Ric shared so many
great stories. You can learn more about him at www.ricjaz.net. Special thanks to
Steve for making the night possible. This episode also includes two
songs from The Michael Williams Band. Michael was my guest back on
Episode 031. The featured songs are from his album "Fire Red".

The album is available at iTunes and Amazon. This a big
episode...Enjoy!!!
