Episode 246 - Eddie Jemison

My guest today is the great Eddie Jemison!  He is the co-Director/co-Star/Writer of the film "King of Herrings". It is being released 1/20/15 on VOD, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, You Tube, Vimeo, and many more. I had the opportunity to see it, and I love it. It is shot in crisp black and white, and the interplay between the characters is amazing. The fact that the actors have a rapport and friendship that goes back 25 years comes as no surprise. The film has been described as the bastard child of Woody Allen and Tom Waits. This is a brilliant description of what you'll find when you watch it. Eddie and I have so much in common. We had a lot to talk about during this interview. We covered movies, music, parenthood, getting older, and all points in between. Bud Lite fans will remember Eddie as the "Yes, I am" guy from the commercials in the 90s. Learn more at www.kingofherrings.com and

Episode 245 - Irene Rae

Today's guest is singer/songwriter Irene Rae! She is from the UK, and is working on a brand new EP. It will be her first band recording since 2009. She funded it through a Kickstarter campaign that raised 200% of her goal as of this writing! We talked about how grateful she is for the support from her fans, and how important it is to keep your goal modest when crowd funding. I had such a great time speaking with Irene, and I hope to have her on again very soon. Three songs from her 2009 release "End of Nothing...Beginning of Something" are featured with this episode. Her voice is amazing!  Learn more at www.irenerae.com. We shared a lot of laughs during this interview. I know that you will enjoy it as much as I did. If you reach out to Irene, please tell her that you heard her here first!
