Episode 269 - Christine Weatherup

My guest today is Christine Weatherup! She was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been acting professionally since she was a teenager. She joined me to talk about her starring role in the indie anti-romantic comedy "Bread and Butter". Christine's character is Amelia Karinksy. She's a 30 year old obsessed with her virginity and is struggling to navigate relationships with two men that fell for her at the same time. Christine brings equal measures of sweet, awkward, and laugh out loud funny to this part. I love this movie. The writing is smart and you can tell that the cast really clicked. It was written and directed by Liz Manashil. She did an amazing job with it! Experience it for yourself at Amazon, iTunes, and VOD. Learn more at www.breadandbuttermovie.com. Christine and I also talked about life in California, the artistic freedom of working on indie projects, and her studies at USC and the Upright Citizen's Brigade. Learn more at www.christineweatherup.com, her IMDB page, and follow her on Twitter. She would love to know what you think about the movie. When you reach out, please mention that you heard her here first. Enjoy!

Episode 266 - Chris Mulkey

My guest today is Chris Mulkey. He is a man of many talents, and I am thrilled to have him on the show! He is an actor that has appeared in countless film and TV roles going back to the mid 70's. What you may not know is that he is also an incredible musician and plays a mean guitar. Needless to say, we had a lot to talk about! We started things off by discussing his latest film "The Surface". It is out now on DVD and VOD. Most of the action takes place on a boat in the middle of Lake Michigan. His co star is Sean Astin, and both actors do an amazing job with this remote setting. Learn more at www.thesurfacemovie.com. We later turn the discussion to music, and this man has some stories! Three of his songs are included with this episode. Look for his albums on Amazon. Follow Chris on Twitter and check out his IMDB page to see his impressive list of projects both past and present. Episode 246 - Eddie Jemison

My guest today is the great Eddie Jemison!  He is the co-Director/co-Star/Writer of the film "King of Herrings". It is being released 1/20/15 on VOD, Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, You Tube, Vimeo, and many more. I had the opportunity to see it, and I love it. It is shot in crisp black and white, and the interplay between the characters is amazing. The fact that the actors have a rapport and friendship that goes back 25 years comes as no surprise. The film has been described as the bastard child of Woody Allen and Tom Waits. This is a brilliant description of what you'll find when you watch it. Eddie and I have so much in common. We had a lot to talk about during this interview. We covered movies, music, parenthood, getting older, and all points in between. Bud Lite fans will remember Eddie as the "Yes, I am" guy from the commercials in the 90s. Learn more at www.kingofherrings.com and
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0420646/. If you reach out to Eddie, please let him know that you heard him here first. Enjoy!

Episode 208 - Blayne Weaver

My guest today is Blayne Weaver. He is a writer, director, and actor based out of NYC. He is also the star of the movie "Favor". This film is now available on dvd, PPV, iTunes, Amazon, streaming, etc. I caught it on pay per view and loved it! It is a modern day classic thriller. The premise is simple; "A friend helps you move, a good friend helps you move a body." The trouble starts there. This is the kind of movie where the drama builds throughout and keeps you guessing. Just when you think you know where things are headed, it shifts direction. Blayne plays "Kip". He is a guy that has it all until things go horribly wrong. See what he does to fix it. I highly encourage you to see the film. We also talked about his childhood in Bossier City LA, life in NYC and California, and his voice over work. He has been the classic voice of Peter Pan since 2002. This guy does it all! Learn more about him at his IMDB page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0915814/), Twitter (https://twitter.com/BlayneWeaver), and Facebook  (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Blayne-Weaver/286196798256). Episode 088 - Andrew Goffman

Andrew Goffman is the creator and star of the hit one man show "The Accidental Pervert". I had a great conversation with Andrew. I learned that we are the same age, and grew up 45 minutes away from each other. We had an instant connection! His show centers on finding his father's collection of X-rated videos at a young age, and the impacts that it had on his future relationships. He told me how the show came together, and how it has expanded since the early days. Andrew is very open and honest, and we covered some interesting topics during this interview. Episode 002 - Frank Pacheco

A few years ago, Frank made the move from a small town in Pennsylvania to sunny California to pursue a career in acting. The interview starts with Frank telling us about what is new and exciting out West. He describes how he decided to make his big move, and what the first few months were like. Frank has appeared on many hit shows, including Heroes, Bones, Glee, Justified, and Shameless. He also has a recurring role on the Disney Channel show "Wizards of Waverly Place". Frank has a very positive attitude, and that has served him well in a very competitive industry. He has nothing but good things to say about his fellow actors, and is very involved in helping new actors get their start. He talks about the people that have helped and inspired him throuh the years, and how happy he is to have his brother out there with him. Frank also shares his thoughts on the risk of being typecast, and how to stand out from the crowd. Every conversation that I have with Frank is a lot of fun. We have shared many laughs together, and I am eager to share some of that magic with you.  Enjoy!
